Fibre Bonded & Entrance Matting
Aesthetically Pleasing and Highly Functional
Entrance matting is often overlooked especially in commercial buildings, but the entrance to your building must be both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.
An effective barrier matting system, when correctly specified, will help to minimise the risk of slip accidents caused by wet flooring, reduce maintenance costs and improve the appearance of internal floorcoverings by significantly reducing the amount of dirt and moisture tracked into a building.
Entrance matting cannot only be used at a building’s entrance and access points but also in other areas that are subject to increased risk of soiling and heavy wear. In many cases the optimum performance is achieved by combining different types of barrier matting.
Products are available in a choice of open and closed construction and in different gauges to suit both recessed and surface mounted options. Products are available to suit varying types and volumes of traffic.
Open Construction – incorporates spaces allowing dirt and moisture to fall through in to the matwell below which can be lifted intermittently to remove the debris as well as for deep cleaning the mat itself.
Closed Construction – dirt and moisture remain on the surface of the mat and can be removed by regular cleaning in addition to periodic deep cleaning of the mat itself.
