Rubber Safety Flooring

The safety flooring that we provide is not only slip-resistant but also impervious and grout-free, meaning that mould and fungus cannot grow; what’s more, it is available in a variety of colours and designs, meaning that you can still have plenty of choices when deciding on your decor. **NEW** QUICK LAY – ADHESIVE-FREE

We can now offer a QuickLay (loose lay) safety flooring designed for adhesive-free installation and is the perfect solution for busy commercial environments in need of a quick turnaround and where sustainable slip resistance is a priority! The double sided QuickLay tap is fitted around the perimeter of the room, underneath all seams and doorways securing the flooring in place.

Adhesive-free installation means no drying time and an odour free installation meaning the space can be in use again on the same day.

The whole collection is dsdc accredited making it perfect for use in dementia care environments.

VINYL TILES OR SHEET

This is a resilient floor covering with many health, environmental, and resistance benefits, making it an ideal choice for many interior areas. Including hospitals, receptions, halls, airports, schools, shops, public buildings and other areas requiring an all-round beneficial long-lasting application. Our range of safety flooring products which is constructed from heavy-duty vinyl and reinforced with a glass reinforced plastic fibre grid. Crystal particles and coloured chips are laid deep with the non-slip flooring to offer a brighter more decorative design.

RUBBER FLOORING

Rubber is a highly resilient and versatile flooring choice. It is well-suited to commercial locations due to its anti-slip, durable and visually appealing characteristics. Rubber flooring also has additional benefits, being resistant to fading, burns, and daily wear. It is also available in a range of textures, be it smooth to aid the passage of movement, or textured to provide excellent slip resistance.

Safety flooring can come in sheets or modular tiles. Safety sheet is popular and functional, as it has less joints, and can cover large areas quickly, but it cannot be easily repaired without patches or expensive full removal and replacement. Modular tiles can be replaced much easier but has an increase in joints which may wear over time.

PENDULUM AND RAMP TESTED

In the UK the pendulum slip test is the HSE’s preferred measure of slip resistance. A score over 36 in the WET test indicates a significant level of slip resistance.

Ramp indicates slip resistance in a slightly different manner, but an R rating is a recognised European method for measuring slip resistance.

LIFETIME SLIP RESISTANCE

Particulates are added throughout the wear layer not just on the surface which will wear away overtime and leave users vulnerable. Our slip resistance will last the entire lifetime of the product and not just until the surface layer wears away.
